I just wanted to say a huge thank you for arranging our special trip. We had the best time and have made many amazing memories. Everything from start to finish ran smoothly with the transfers and hotel bookings you had arranged. The choice of hotels were fantastic, ideally situated and clean and comfortable. Despite being in the centre of Rome and Venice we felt very safe. Rome hotel was secure with a key code access and Venice had a 24hr reception with friendly staff. It was a special time to be in Rome and despite it being the Jubilee year we managed to see and do everything we had planned with hardly any queuing and manageable crowds of people. We enjoyed not only the tourist spots but took your advice and saw the hidden gems outside of these areas and wow what a fab experience that was. Your suggestions to book beat the queue tickets was also appreciated. We avoided at least 2 hour wait times and so had more time exploring these beautiful cities. We enjoyed rooftop views, beautiful food and a jam-packed itinerary from orange tree gardens, Aventine Hill and a fantastic view of the Vatican, Trevi fountain and Colosseum both during the day and night. We did a Gondola ride in Venice on our 25th wedding anniversary with a stunning meal overlooking the grand canal at night, something we will never forget.

Thank you for taking the time to help Ellie and Joseph with this surprise trip for us and then taking the time to help me with a suggested itinerary and possible tours to try, which we managed to tick everything off and more! We even fit in time for a trip to the beautiful Burano fishing village on the public water bus, again amazing!

The weather was stunning the whole trip, so sitting in the piazza with a glass of limoncello spritz was a joy!

The icing on the cake was seeing the Pope! We were visiting the Basilica where Pope Francis had been buried as it was only 5 minutes from our hotel, and were told Pope Leo would be visiting the next day! We stood on the pavement as he drove by and waited for him to address the crowds from the balcony and give a blessing. We were not expecting to do this on our trip, a once in a lifetime experience for us!

We can’t thank you enough for helping with this trip and the extra time you have spent on it helping me google things! We will definitely book with you again, but the only down-side will be that we have to pay for the next one ourselves!

Wanted to thank you for a great holiday, the apartment was very large, great position out of the resort, loads of space and sunbeds at the pool, we were really able to relax.

Hi Catherine! I know mum will send you a message but from Joseph and I.. thank you so much! They came back late last night and have not stopped talking about their trip! Everything was flawless and we couldn’t have done it without you!!

Catherine was great from the very first contact enquiring about what she could find for us to the check in once we were home to make sure everything had gone to plan.
Nothing was too much trouble, I was a bit of a nightmare customer (even got my own date of birth wrong when I made the booking!!) and Catherine took it all in her stride.
The deal Catherine found us was amazing, she even booked our seats and when the time came she checked us in as it wasn’t working when I tried.

We booked our honeymoon with Cate through travelbycatherine and it was amazing from start to finish!
Cate kept in touch the whole way through, gave us loads of brilliant options after discussing our preferences and made sure that everything was organised perfectly for a smooth tour of Japan. Cate was always on the ball and took all the stress out of planning which was exactly what I had hoped for. Nothing was too much trouble including making alterations to suit our needs and securing us great seats for the flight. The hotel selection, travel arrangements and booked tour were all spot on!
